The client requirement was to construct a 2,600 person mining camp at Extension Hill a remote site 580km north of Peth, Western Australia. The speed of construction required, combined with the lack of skilled labor in the remote site location, made the use of pre-fabricated module accommodation the perfect choice. Eton Modular has completed the design and will commence fabrication of the modular accommodation, some communal areas and service corridors which are scheduled for completion in April 2013. Alternate Design Scheme Unlike standard temporary mining accommodation, the modules are designed with comfort and privacy in mind. Each unit has it’s own Continue Reading
